The factory made Norswitch transformer substations are delivered on site ready equipped and tested. The building includes the MV and LV switchgear, their protection/control relays, distribution transformers, HVAC- and mechanical design, electrification of the building, AC-equipment etc. The NorSwitch Transformer Substation is suitable for several distribution transformers, either oil insulated or cast resin insulated. The buildings can be completely or partially thermo-insulated.

The design of the substation starts from the needs of the customer. The substation is designed together taking into consideration the existing network and the needs of the new project, aiming for a cost-effective total solution. The project schedules and responsibilities are agreed before start-up of the project.

NorSwitch  Transformer Substation is tested and commissioned at our factory. It is delivered in transport-size chunks to the site. The necessary installation and commissioning on site is minimised, which speeds up the project schedules.
