Norelco supplies all switchboards for Meilahti Bridge Hospital

Norelco is involved in the construction of Meilahti Bridge Hospital, the largest construction project in the history of HUS Helsinki University Hospital. Meilahti Bridge Hospital will replace Töölö Hospital and some of the Department of Oncology’s facilities. The building will be connected operationally and physically to Meilahti Tower Hospital, Meilahti Triangle Hospital and the remaining facilities of the Department of Oncology building. Meilahti Tower Hospital, Meilahti Triangle Hospital and Meilahti Bridge Hospital will form a single medical cluster. 

Norelco delivered all the switchboards required at Meilahti Bridge Hospital, which translates to over 600 switchboards!

The construction project, which started in 2018, progressed as planned and was completed in summer 2022. After the ongoing installation of final fixtures and equipment, the hospital will receive its first patients in January 2023.
