I’m Lauri, a 20-year-old trainee. I’m just about to complete the first phase of the component assembler training organised by Norelco. I applied for the programme based on a friend’s recommendation, as the work sounded interesting. At Norelco, the instructors are really good, and the working environment has been thought through down to the smallest detail, making the work clear and easy to learn. Our training group has also been great. You can join the programme regardless of your background — no prior knowledge is required. You will definitely learn during the training.
We comply with the collective agreements of the Finnish Technology Industries. In production work, we also use a contract wage model.
We have people of all ages and backgrounds working for us. Our work community is multicultural and we speak both Finnish and English in everyday life.
We provide orientation and guidance to new employees and support our employees' career progression. The work is organized in a way that supports continuous learning.
Norelco operates in two locations: Savonlinna and Kuopio, with approximately 320 employees.
