Okken – Innovative and Sustainable Low Voltage Switchboard

Okken is a reliable, fully certified, and type-tested low voltage switchboard in accordance with IEC 61439-1/2, specifically designed for data centres and demanding industrial environments. Norelco is the only licensed contract manufacturer of Schneider Electric’s Okken and Okken Lean switchboards in Finland. Moreover, Norelco is the first manufacturer in Europe to hold a full license to independently produce both the switchboard frames and busbar systems. FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) can also be conveniently carried out at Norelco’s factory in Finland.

Okken Lean is an innovative switchboard system that ensures excellent personnel safety and guarantees continuous power distribution in critical environments. The Lean model supports sustainable development, and its advanced busbar and frame design can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 30%. The optimized busbar placement minimizes heat losses, significantly lowering lifecycle costs.

All products are manufactured at Norelco’s factory in Savonlinna, Finland, backed by over 60 years of experience. The Okken switchboard frames are made from domestic materials, and the short supply chain from production to delivery within Finland helps reduce the environmental impact. Local manufacturing also ensures fast and reliable maintenance and spare parts services throughout the entire lifecycle of the equipment.
