Versatile and Environmentally Friendly Rural Transformers

There are three basic types of transformers:

1.  NPM 420 equipped with a single medium voltage device. The device can be either a load switch or a fuse load switch.
2.  NPM 420H equipped with a line load switch. The load switch can be connected either as a line or transformer switch.
3.  NPM 410 without a medium voltage device.
All basic types can be equipped with a medium voltage cable branching.

The maximum size of the distribution transformer is 315kVA. An integrated oil collection basin ensures that oil does not leak into the environment in case of transformer failure. The basin is naturally dimensioned for the entire oil volume of the transformer.

Attention has been paid to the lifecycle of rural transformers: all metal parts are hot-dip galvanized with a thick layer. The roof is made of coated profile roof sheet.

The NPM 420H transformer is designed together with customers to meet the changing needs of the electrical network. The load switch of the transformer can be used either as a line switch for the lead-out or as a transformer switch. The supply cable can also be branched.

The nominal current of the low voltage switchgear is up to 500A, with a maximum of 6 pcs of 400A or 12 pcs of 160A branch fuses. The low voltage switchgear can be equipped with a main switch or alternatively without a main switch.
