Versatile and environment friendy rural substations

There are two basic types, each having a compartment for distribution transformer:

• NPM 420 with one MV switch, either load break switch or circuit breaker
• NPM 410 without any MV switch

Both types can be equipped with branching terminals for MV cable.
The maximum size of the distribution transformer is 315 kVA.

The substation has an integrated oil collection pool for gathering all the spilled oil, in case the transformers breaks up.

The substation is manufactured using first-class materials: the metal parts have a thick coating of zinc and additionally the parts touching the ground are treated with a 2-component epoxy-tar.

The substation has a low voltage switchboard for max. 500A, with max 6 pieces of 400A vertical fuse break switches or 12 pieces 160A vertical fuse break switches. The LV part can also be equipped with a main switch and A/V-metering.
