Norelco NorPower 5000 type-tested multi-cubicle switchgear system can be built into versatile motor control centres (MCC’s) for the needs of the industry and process control with the rated current of up to 5000 A. It can also be used to build main distribution panels up to 6300A. NorPower 5000 systems are short-circuit and arc-fault tested in compliance with the standard EN60439.

Using NorPower 5000 you can choose from different techniques and control options the best suitable solutions for projects needs. The equipment of the motor units can be withdrawable, removable or fixed. The motor units are more frequently executed with bus controlled intelligent motor units, while the switchgear can also include frequency converters, DC drives, centralized PLC and an integrated compensation system.  It is possible to manufacture units from Form 4b type to Form 2 type.

A cost-efficient means of connection to the switchgear is the NorBus 5000 busbar trunking.

The cabling of NorPower 5000 is extremely easy due to the ample connection spaces. The switchboards can be recognized by their modern and smart colours: the intermediate strips are graphite grey, while the doors and panels are Norelco white.

The switchboards are produced from durable high-quality materials and are equipped with reliable components. It is possible to choose the components from different well-known component manufacturers.
