NorEve indoor substations – an efficient solution for power distribution at high-power EV charging sites. When building large EV charging sites with multiple high-power charging stations, a sufficiently large low-voltage connection is usually not available from the local electricity distribution network.

In these cases, a medium-voltage connection is required to distribute power to the charging infrastructure. This need may arise both in new-build projects and at existing sites where several fast or high-power charging points are to be installed. NorEve indoor substations are installed indoors and are ideally suited for EV charging sites. They can be connected to standard, fast and high-power charging points.

Each NorEve indoor substation is designed according to the available space and built using the following Norelco products:

- NorMax Air medium-voltage switchgear, 24 kV / 630 A
- NorPower 5000 low-voltage switchgear, max. 5000 A / 400 VAC
- NorBus 5000 busbar bridge for connecting the distribution transformer and low-voltage switchgear
- Distribution transformer and protective enclosure
- Optional: low- or medium-voltage electricity metering
