Samuli Saari appointed as Project Engineer at Norelco

With the growing demand and increasing number of projects in the industrial and renewable energy sectors, Norelco has appointed Samuli Saari as a project engineer, effective August 5, 2024. The project engineer serves as a link between the customer and the design and production teams at the factory. The goal is to facilitate communication and find solutions to any issues that may arise.

Orders at Norelco progress according to the company’s quality and manufacturing process, moving through design, production, and testing before reaching the customer. The process is monitored at various production stages, and a weekly report informs the customer of the manufacturing progress.

The project engineer is easily reachable

As a project engineer Samuli Saari is easy to reach and seeks solutions when needed. He explains that project management and quick, easy communication are core aspects of his work. He describes it as follows:

“Even though there are many customers and products, and the task is broad in scope, it can be managed systematically. In summary, the service provided by the project engineer is particularly emphasized in communication with our customers when there are multiple critical interfaces in the project, from sales to the installation of the finished product,” he says.

“And the more extensive or complex the solution, the more additional questions may arise, which need to be answered as soon as possible. This way, delays or information gaps can be avoided during critical moments in production,” Saari continues.

“Drawn to develop professional skills at Norelco.”

Samuli Saari is an engineer with a background in environmental and equipment technology and has worked for several years in customer-facing roles at PEL-Tuote Oy. He has handled customer projects in multiple countries, making him familiar with international operating environments.

When the project engineer position at Norelco became available, Saari says he was immediately interested. Partly, this was due to a personal desire for professional growth, but he was also drawn to Norelco as a company: the company’s communication reflected a strong commitment to development, a goal-oriented approach, and a willingness to expand and grow alongside its customers.

“I want to be part of that growth. I believe that when you do your job well, you will also see results. It will be interesting to see what the future holds in this role,” Saari says.

On the go in his free time

In his free time, Samuli Saari, along with his spouse, manages the day-to-day life of a family with children and actively participates in running his spouse’s vegetable farm. Also Saari’s musical hobby provides some extra beat to his everyday life: whether it’s the powerful sound of a trombone in a wind orchestra or rhythmic percussion instruments!

We welcome Samuli to Norelco. You can easily reach him by calling 050 5255 317 or by sending a message to samuli.saari@norelco.fi.
