Norelco invests in lean production

Norelco has expanded the Nätki factory and organised the production according to lean principles. With this change Norelco is looking for increase of capacity, better productivity and better quality.

The Nätki factory is where the NorPower 5000 LV switchgear, NorMega primary MV switchgear, NorMax secondary MV switchgear and NPM kiosk type substations are manufactured.

The working processes were improved and several non-productive operations removed from the process. The warehouse control system was also renewed into a mobile system.
