NorBus 4000 Busbar Trunking System

RELIABLE POWER DISTRIBUTION FOR HIGH CURRENTS

 

The factory-made NORBUS 4000 busbar trunking system is especially designed for power distribution between distribution transformers and switchboards.

The busbar enclosure is made of galvanized steel and can also be painted. The busbar material is either aluminium or copper, the busbars normally being painted.

The modular NORBUS 4000 system consists of the following standard modules:

NorBus 4000

  • straight busbar trunking 1.5 m
  • horizontal 90 degree angle
  • vertival 90 degree angle
  • internal fire protection wall (A60 or A120)
  • flexible connection at the distribution transformer end
  • standardized interface for the Norelco NorPower 4000 switchboard system
Additionally the following options are also available:
  • current transformers
  • lateral flexible joint, recommended for trunking systems with 20m or more
  • enclosure painting
The busbar trunking system is designed, manufactured and inspected at the factory before shipping and delived in separate parts, each not exceeding 3.5m. The trunking is normally installed by using support bars attached to the floor. There are earthing terminal at both ends of the trunking.
