MORE CAPACITY AND EFFICIENCY FOR THE NC-MACHINES

Norelco manufactures gantry-type LR robot systems, for the loading and unloading of numerically controlled machines. Using these robot systems, the NC-machines can be run unmanned.

The systems are applicable for all types of NC-machines, e.g. sheet metal work stations, lathes etc.

The free programming capacity, the working queue- feature and the precise servo-control give practically endless possibilities for the use of these systems.

Thanks to the gantry-type structure, the LR-robots use the floor space optimally. The LR also works well with long movements and in the handling of heavy objects.

The operation of the system is based on the working queue, which is defined before the system is started. The system executes the works in the queue in the order that they were input. For each work, the system sends the corresponding NC-program to the machine center and coordinates its operation with the robot. When the work is finished, the next is executed automatically.

The robot can be easily programmed using the Basic-type programming language, which can be used to program complicated tasks and operations.
